SUMMARY
The CSOT programme is a Cat B programme which is estimated to be approximately £160M over the next 5 Years for the concept to delivery phase, an In-service and operational phase will last a further 20 years.
The CSOT programme is for training operators on a significant programme, the scope consists of re-configurable Training Simulators, which will replace a range of legacy control room simulators (CRS) and part task trainers (such as Thrasher, Talisman, Dolphin Attack Teacher (DAT) and RRTT PTT). It will have the capability to enable Individual, Team and Collective Training, Mission Rehearsal, TACDEV and Beta Testing to be performed. This scope requires a team of experienced 8 FTEs to delivery against some extremely challenging milestones, this team need to be stood up immediately. It has 2 Star support within the Tech Directorate.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Preparing an ILS Management Plan,
- Create/Review and authorise IP Software Support Plan,
- Create/Review and authorise IP supply support plan,
- Create/Review and authoriser IP Maintenance and support plan.
- Work with IP, Engineering Manager and CSDT SMT to define clearly updates and upgrades planning in order to develop the appropriate maintenance and upgrade schedules and plans.
- Review and authorise the IP CSOT user and maintenance manuals. Review and authorise the spares holdings and repair loop.
