Software Engineer L2 - Bristol

RESPONSIBILITIES

Respond to emerging issues and inform LOAA holder of any changes in risk management approach.
Assisting in the interpretation and refinement of software requirements for aviation systems.
Assisting in creating test cases and conducting software assurance for reliability and safety.
Manage issues and risks related to Software
Technical investigation reports of software related issues.
Preparation of technical documentation, maintain version control and documenting changes to remain compliant to aviation and defence standards, MRP & DAT (AET and DGAPI)
Assisting in the interpretation and refinement of software requirements for aviation systems.

EXPERIENCE

ESSENTIAL

System Engineering qualification and experience of aviation (preference for UAS world but general aviation acceptable).
Demonstrate knowledge of programming languages applicable to coding in aviation.
Knowledge of Specific Operations Risk Assessment (SORA) methodology required.
Able to travel within the UK.

DESIRABLE
