RESPONSIBILITIES

A&RP Evolve emanated from the initial work in the Demand space undertaken in the Forecast and Resource Planning (F&RP) programme at Fd Army HQ. This work is still in progress and aims to improve the granularity/richness of the Demand signal by building activity stacks from an event level perspective, “bottom up”, with eight stacks already built and another three in development. Having a more granular event level view of the future activity enables a more accurate and informed support solution. The stacks are built from manual “data cuts” from various existing applications and sources. This process is very time consuming and therefore requires automation from a data point of view; this will enable the full breadth of equipment to be captured. The work to automate the data feeds from OPUS/Churchill/TAFMIS is already underway and is planned to be complete by the beginning of October 2023.

Once the data feeds are automatically fed into Veritas via the ADW, an exercise is required to verify that the data feeds are being fed into Veritas correctly and that Veritas has been configured correctly against the existing manual A&RP Evolve process. Immediately after this, a verification exercise is required to compare the automated data against the manual activity stacks in order to identify missing/grey data within the automated feeds.
