OVERVIEW
A Project Manager is required to manage the complex Naval data and digital sub-portfolio. The role will understand all areas relating to the data and digital space in the naval base, working with key stakeholders to understand existing constraints and demands and look to innovate and modern approaches to overcome some of the outstanding challenges this area poses to the client.
Travel to each naval base should be expected but is not anticipated to be frequent.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for leading, managing and developing multi-disciplinary teams
- Accountable for the delivery of their projects' outputs
- Responsible for ensuring the most cost-effective and efficient means of delivery
- Support an open, honest, no blame culture
- Adhering to all governance and policy to enable the required compliance
- Regularly meet the customer to understand the objective, requirements and means of acceptance
- Deliver project requirements within the performance/cost/time envelope
- Responsible for meeting budgets
- Lead the construction of the Performance Measurement Baseline
- Proactively support career management and wider development.

- Understanding of Contract Management (from Commercial Function)
