Evodia is currently recruiting for multiple Safety Engineer’s with experience within either Air, Land or Maritime domain that can deliver Acquisition Safety and Environmental Protection (ASEP) SQEP support and will be responsible for the delivery and maintenance of safety programmes and artefacts. The roles available are hybrid contract opportunities with 3 days required per week on our customer site in Bristol and the remainder working from home (unless agreed otherwise).
RESPONSIBILITIES
The Safety Engineer’s will be required to:
- Deliver against the overarching programme and established safety management plan.
- Produce safety and environmental artefacts to time and quality requirements
- The Safety Engineer shall act as a DT safety focal point. As a result, they will be required to represent the DT at required safety engagements, including regulatory interface, and can brief up and down.
The Air/Land/Maritime Safety Engineer will be responsible for the day to day safety activity, delivering against agreed tasks.
EXPERIENCE
ESSENTIAL
- Practitioner level experience of DE&S safety management systems and processes (POSMS).
- Practitioner level experience of leading air safety management tasks.
- Practitioner level experience (Plan creation and update) of:
- Safety and Environmental Management Plans.
- Safety Case / A Safety Case Report.
- Hazard Logs
- Hazard identification and assessment.
- Operation of safety review meetings.
DESIRABLE
- Type Certification Experience
- Working within DE&S Air/Land/Maritime domains
- Working within SACC
- Fault and Event Tree (FTA / ETA).
- BowTie assessment.
- Safety arguments (CAE / GSN).
- Knowledge of applicable legislation, regulation and standards and defence policy.
- Hermes.
- Resolve.
- ASPIRE.
- ASSERT.
