OVERVIEW
The programme is currently in concept phase developing the detailed solution design, requirements, commercial and procurement strategies and will be due to submit an Outline Business Case (OBC) in Autumn-25. Following the OBC submission the NSIGN Naval Base Project will enter formal market engagement. The Project is part of the wider NSIGN programme (Ships, Submarines & Naval Bases Projects), coherence will be undertaken through a central Programme Management Office (PMO).
The NSIGN Programme Team is split between three organisations, Navy Command, DE&S and SDA. The roles requested will sit within the SDA element of NSIGN. The role sits within the NSIGN NB Central Team and will support each naval base. Travel to each naval base should be expected.

- Forecasting the future budget
- Reviewing and creating accruals
- Providing financial analysis to support decision making
- Involvement in developing costings for business cases
- Tracking costs to contracts and ensuring they are recorded correctly
- Using financial systems.
